The Challenge
Staples was looking for a way to drive incremental high-margin sales during the checkout process. They wanted to mimic the experience of a brick-and-mortar checkout by offering some frequently-purchased items all in one convenient step in the checkout process.
The Solution
iGoDigital created the Staples Candy Aisle, a page that appears once the user selects the Checkout option. Instead of going straight to checkout, they are taken to a page that offers 6-10 high-margin low cost items just like the Candy Aisle at a brick-and-mortar store. With one click, they can add any or all of these items to their cart and proceed with traditional checkout.
